Community Building

We build bridges
to common ground.

We build on what connects us — shared values, shared futures.

Community Relations

JCRB|AJC is the primary representative of the Jewish community of Greater Kansas City in building relationships across communities and fostering a more inclusive, connected society. We believe that shared understanding, meaningful dialogue, and collaboration are among the most powerful tools we have for reducing prejudice and making Kansas City stronger.

From joint advocacy campaigns to interfaith dialogue, from shared holiday celebrations to coalition-building with civic and faith leaders — we show up at the table, and we invite others to join us.

Whether you’re a faith leader, educator, elected official, or community member who wants to build bridges rather than walls, we’d love to connect.

“When we build relationships before a crisis, we’re better prepared to respond together when one comes.”
Building Bridges of Understanding

Strangers No More Program

Strangers No More — Building Bridges to Understanding is an interfaith women’s dialogue program that brings together participants who have historically had little contact with one another. Participants discover their shared values and humanity, building lasting individual relationships and strengthening institutional ties.
