Campus Climate: Unpacking the American Student Experience
As the deadline nears for high school seniors to choose which college to attend, many students and their families are actively thinking about the college experience and what to expect. This Campus Crash Course, will illuminate the reality for Jewish students at colleges across the United States. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from Dr. Betty Jeanne Taylor, assistant vice president in the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement (DDCE) at The University of Texas at Austin, Rabbi Ari Weiss, Executive Director of Cornell Hillel, and current college students about the state of student affairs on college campuses. Panelists will discuss the resources on campus for Jewish students, and the many opportunities for personal and professional growth during a student’s undergraduate career.
