At the presidential debate earlier this week, Americans heard President Trump and Vice President Biden make mention of both the Proud Boys, a right-wing extremist group, and Antifa, an anti-fascist militant protest movement. As antisemitism is surging across the country, and politically-motivated violence is seen in some American cities, it has perhaps never been more important for us to understand the dangers of extremism in our nation.
