Prepare to Respond: Antisemitism in Schools and on Social Media
Jewish students in our region face antisemitism on a disturbingly regular basis in schools: 75% of students in our region report experiencing or witnessing at least one form of antisemitism at school.
Unfortunately, antisemitism follows students home on social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat. Many students encountered this in May, when we saw virulently anti-Israel content, misinformation about the conflict, and blatant antisemitism spread rapidly across social media.
We welcome parents, grandparents, and relatives of Jewish students to join us to learn more about the antisemitism students are experiencing and how JCRB|AJC works to ensure that young Jews in Kansas City are informed, prepared, and effective advocates for the Jewish people and for themselves.
