2022 Martin Luther King, Jr. Mass Celebration
This annual celebration is the culmination of a week of events in honor and memory of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his work, and will be a hybrid event (in person and online).
This year's theme is Freedom & Justice Now!
Bishop Vashti Murphy McKenzie, author, national voice for women, servant leadership and social justice, and the first women to hold this level of Episcopal office in the 200-year history of the AME Church, will be the keynote speaker.
Location: Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, 2310 East Linwood Boulevard, Kansas City, Missouri. Parking available in the lot on the south side of Linwood.
